To Those Whom This Letter May Concern:

• Foreword:
As the winter clouds come rolling in,
Over the hills and through the lives of many,
Silence fills the air, the smell of rain floats into
Each room. •
Thunder cracks, lightning strikes (but not in that
Order), a mother holds her crying child, frightened
By the roaring sound that comes from all directions.
Lightning strikes again, thunder sounds again, this
Time they are accompanied with silent sound of
A single person shutting out the world.

Allow the snow to fall freely, unstained by the thoughts
We care so much about, yet keep so deep inside. The sun reflects
Brightly into my eyes, I cannot see the birds in the sky, flying
Away from the disturbances within the forest, dead, that hides
The oncoming threat. •

          -Thunder and lightning won’t change the absence
Of love I have for you. The feelings I clench inside are
Not for your eyes – you will never know my truth. As the summer
Comes and the spring is no more than a distant memory,
I shall try and forget you, in the sun and in the shade.
You are no longer welcome

          -The Robin’s sing a sorrowful song as the sun
Through the ever looming clouds that hang above,
As the Earth beneath dries, as the rivers melt and the grass
Turns to green, my mind begins to see the truth behind the lies.
I know, now, why I cannot be with you. There is no need to list
The reasons, it will be vain of heart to do so. I need for you to
Understand this, and leave me be

          -Upon the stone walls, built long before either of us were
Born, the moon casts an eerie light, which dispels the shadowy figures
That lurk within the darkness that lingers just beyond the realms of light.
With the night everlasting in our minds, and the moon slowly waning,
Never to wax again – I stand before the fear, the hatred, and the violence,
I stand here to protect you, so that I may have opportunity to tell you the truth
Of the matter, no lies, no flirtatious smiles, no dancing around my feelings anymore.
I need not say the words, my actions should speak loud
Enough (anyway, those words are too cliché). I haven’t
Said it out loud, for the fear of breaking hearts. The shattering
Sounds that fill my chest scare me so.

          -Everything I said, it was oh so true. Every word
I uttered or wrote, was purposeful and sincere. I love you,
Yes I do, but I now I’m leaving this space, moving forth. I know
You don’t care, you never knew, so why would you? From
This moment onwards, with flames in the background, I shall
Live my life, even if it has to be without out you. If I died tonight, you would
Not hold my hand. If I told you the truth, I would have to disappear.
I’m tired. This love for you is painful; it’s making me sad.
Moving on, this is what I need. I meant it, every word I said.
>> Ps. J’ai adoré vous, but now I’m moving on.•

          -Here I stand again, autumn has given way to winter
For another year, the flowers are withering in the distance,
As if in fast-forward, while I stand upon a white hill, waiting.
I don’t know what’s happening around the world, it is all
So obsolete, nothing matters if you’re not with me.
I have made amends with those who I needed to make amends with,
And now I wish to be with you, guilt free, nothing to my name,
No pain, no baggage, no money and no possessions.
This is what it boils down to: I have feelings for you, I
Cannot deny this. I need to know if you have feelings for me,
I cannot live without knowing.  I want to be with you, right
Now, right here.

... and Letters of Another Kind
Yet another poem. This was written about a month ago, I re-read today, and edited slightly. (There may still be mistakes).

Anyways, I do hope you enjoy this one C:

Everytime I click in this little "Add a Comment" box and I see the blinking bar I can never find the right words to explain to you how much I love the things you write.
They always have so much emotion and feeling in them and I can always feel what you're feeling, even if I've never felt that way before.
I just wanted to say that I love this poem, but saying that doesn't seem to be enough. The things it says to me run deep and I really enjoied it.

Thanks for writing this and posting it here for my own pleasure. I always love your writings.
